Avalon High

Today I was watching a really fun movie: Avalon High. (Check out Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Avalon_High for details).

I don't know about the rest of the world but, when I watch Epic movies (Lord of the Rings, Chronicles of Narnia, etc) I often have a huge emotional let down afterward. I feel like my life will never amount to that much... and then I hear The Still Small Voice reminding me that my life is a part of the greatest Epic adventure ever told: God's story! True I may be a small part (but maybe I'm not!). The point is, my job is to be in a position to be ready to rise to any occasion my Author decides to throw me in to. I mean, what if Lucy had dilly-dallied through her chores and never hid in the wardrobe to begin with because she didn't have time to play? What if during his many years of wandering (a seemingly futile existence) Aragorn had given up on his supposed destiny?

Or what if Jesus Christ had looked through the course of history, seen all those who would choose not to love and trust Him, and chosen not to come to be my Savior. Your Savior dear friends!

Be always ready to give answer for the hope that is in you (1 Peter 3:15).

Life is a great adventure - live to prepared for the next step: whatever it may be!
